Bacteriostatic Water 10ml

PEPTIVA BACTERIOSTATIC WATER is sterile, filtered water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied in a 10ml sealed vial.

What it is. A standard laboratory diluent used to reconstitute lyophilised peptides for analytical and in-vitro work. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth in the vial after the stopper has been punctured, which is why it can be used for more than one withdrawal, unlike plain sterile water.

What it is not. It contains no peptide or active compound. It is supplied for laboratory reconstitution only and is not for human or animal use.
